jennifer schaalsecretaryJennifer Schaal has served on The Partnership Project board of directors since 2010, and served as the chair for 2012-2013. She retired in 2006 from Greensboro Women’s Healthcare, after practicing gynecology in Greensboro for two decades. While in practice, Dr. Schaal was a clinical investigator for several national studies, was on the Community Advisory Board of the Women’s Health Initiative, and was an active participant in multiple hospital and community-based committees. Dr. Schaal is a founding member of the Greensboro Health Disparities Collaborative (GHDC), a community-based participatory research (CBPR) group based on antiracism principles that was organized in 2002. As a medical-community member of the GHDC, she has actively participated in multiple research projects in various capacities, including the NCI-funded CCARES (Cancer Care and Racial Equity Study) and Accountability for Cancer Care through Undoing Racism and Equity (ACCURE), the “Respectful Prescribing” study, a pilot study for the Community Translational Science Award Grant Application by the UNC Center for Community and Clinical Research. She has been an active participant in the development and implementation of the GHDC’s Health Equity Training. With academic and community partners she has served on multiple advisory boards, delivered multiple keynote addresses and scientific presentations and co-authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and book chapters. She is an active member of the Guilford Anti-Racism Alliance and has been a trainer for the Racial Equity Institute since 2016.

Diane McFarlandtreasurerDiane McFarland has served on The Partnership Project board of directors since 2017. She graduated from Maryville College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion and Philosophy. Diane has spent her career as a bookkeeper and office manager. She worked for a number of years for Guilford County Schools as a school treasurer and student information manager. Diane has also been active as a volunteer in the Greensboro community around issues of poverty, homelessness, and anti-racism. She is a member of the Guilford Anti-Racism Alliance, currently serving on both the White Caucus steering committee and the White Caucus Doing Our Work planning committee.

kay DoostmemberKay Doost has been a member and the recording secretary for The Partnership Project board of directors since 2007. She has a PhD in Elementary Education from the University of Connecticut and got her Master of Arts in History and Bachelor of Arts in French. She has taught almost all grades and ages in subjects ranging from reading to dance and drama to teacher education. She has volunteered at the Beloved Community Center, the day center for the homeless and she is a founding member of the Greensboro Health Disparities Collaborative, and member of the League of Women Voters and The Friends of the Greensboro Public Library.

Terence "TC" muhammadmemberTerence "TC" Muhammad has been a community activist and organizer for over two decades. His experience spans voter mobilization campaigns, issue advocacy, and coalition building in African American communities, faith communities, on college campuses, and among civil rights and progressive organizations. He works at the intersection of economic justice, criminal justice reform, climate and environmental justice, youth empowerment, and community health. His primary role as Community Outreach Manager for Hip Hop Caucus is to coordinate grassroots mobilizations with advocacy agendas at local, state, and federal levels. This involves working with local and national issue-based coalitions, Hip Hop Caucus’ grassroots leaders, and elected officials to ensure communities’ voices have a say in the policymaking process. TC has been a key force behind executing many of Hip Hop Caucus’ campaigns, tours, and major events, including: the 2008, 2012, and 2016 Respect My Vote! Campaigns; environmental campaigns including People’s Climate Music, the Hip Hop Caucus Act On Climate HBCU Tour, and the Green the Block campaign; and the Make Hip Hop Not War Tour for peace and justice. His entertainment industry expertise includes directing on-the-ground logistics and management for events, concerts, and touring artists, which are services he has provided for such acts as Ludacris, Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, Biggie, T.I., and Russell Simmons. TC is from and lives in North Carolina and proudly wears the banner of an Aggie having studied Psychology at North Carolina A&T State University. He remains very involved in his local community while raising his son.
