Mission Statement
The Partnership Project, Inc. is dedicated to building and sustaining structures that empower communities to identify, understand, and resolve issues rooted in racial disparities. We work to uncover and address the structural foundations of racism that not only harm historically marginalized communities but also compromise the effectiveness and equity of our systems as a whole. Reorganized initially in 2003 as a 501(c)(3) to support the formation of the Greensboro Health Disparities Collaborative (GHDC), The Partnership Project has since expanded its scope. Today, we continue to lead efforts that bring together community members and systems leaders to deepen understanding of systemic racism and its role in producing poor outcomes in health, education, housing, public safety, and other key areas.
Through organizing, education, and facilitating racial equity workshops, including the Racial Equity Institute’s (REI) nationally acclaimed Groundwater and Phase One trainings, we help leaders and institutions build the capacity to change policies and practices for lasting, equitable progress.
